As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines
1. General Requirements
Originality: The manuscript must be original, has not been published previously, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Language: Manuscripts may be written in clear and concise English or Bahasa Indonesia.
Similarity Check: All submissions are screened for originality using Turnitin. The maximum allowed similarity index is 20%.
Peer Review: This journal employs a Double-Anonymous Peer Review process (identity of both authors and reviewers are concealed).
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should be organized systematically using the IMRaD structure:
Title: Concise, specific, and informative (maximum 15 words).
Abstract: A structured abstract (Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion) of 150–250 words.
Keywords: 3 to 5 keywords, separated by semicolons.
Introduction: Provides research background, literature review, gap analysis, and clear objectives.
Methods: Describes study design, population/sample, instruments, and statistical analysis in sufficient detail for replication.
Results: Presents findings logically using text, tables, and figures. Avoid repeating data from tables in the text.
Discussion: Interprets results, compares them with previous studies, discusses implications, and addresses research limitations.
Conclusion: Summarizes main findings and provides suggestions for future research.
References: Must strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition Style. Authors are highly encouraged to use reference managers like Mendeley or Zotero.
3. Ethical Considerations & Declarations
Authors must include the following statements at the end of their manuscript:
Ethical Approval: For studies involving humans or animals, specify the ethical committee and the reference number.
Conflict of Interest: Declare any financial or personal relationships that could bias the work.
AI Disclosure: Authors must declare if Generative AI tools were used. AI cannot be listed as an author.
4. Review Timeline & Submission
Initial Screening: 2–3 weeks.
Peer Review Process: Approximately 4 weeks.
Revision: Authors must return revised manuscripts within 1–2 weeks.
Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted online through the [OJS Submission System].
5. Article Processing Charges (APC)
Medical: Journal of Health and Medicine charges a publication fee of IDR 200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand Rupiah) for every article accepted for publication. There is no submission fee. Payment instructions will be provided upon official acceptance.
